Cebu Holdings, Inc. (CHI, the Company) is engaged in the sale of commercial lands, residential lots, residential condominium, and rental of office and retail space.
CHI sells commercial lands through its 76% owned subsidiary Cebu Property Ventures & Development Corporation (CPVDC). CPVDC owns Cebu Business Park and Cebu IT Park.
Cebu Business Park
Cebu Business Park is a 50-ha integrated business, high-rise residential, shopping, and recreational development in Cebu. Located within the property is the Ayala Center Cebu, the major source of CHI’s rental revenues.
CHI claims that Ayala Center Cebu is the shopping and lifestyle destination of the region. Ayala Center is the preferred mall of class A and B, residents of gated villages, and office workers with its wide selection of foreign and local brands. Ayala Center is strategically located 20 minutes away from Mactan Cebu International Airport and just a walk away from Cebu’s best hotel including the Cebu City Marriot Hotel.
Cebu City Marriot Hotel is owned and developed by a 37% affiliate of CHI, Cebu Insular Hotel Company, Inc. (CIHI). Cebu City Marriot Hotel is a 303-room hotel and the first businessman’s hotel managed by Marriott International in Visayas-Mindanao.
To respond to the increasing need of the Cebuanos to be physically fit and active, through a wholly owned subsidiary, Cebu Leisure Company, Inc. (CLCI), redeveloped a section of the Ayala Center to be the Active Zone. Active Zone features two levels of performance sports brands, fitness equipments, and wellness gadgets. Ayala Cinemas which offers four theatres in the fourth floor of Alyala Center are also under CLCI.
To strengthen Ayala Center Cebu’s ambiance-driven dining component with a cohesive and comprehensive mix of established Manila restaurants and Cebu dining concepts, the Company developed The Terraces.
Ayala Center Cebu is undertaking 50,000 square meters gross floor area or 36,000 square meters leasable floor area expansion. This is in response to the steady influx of tourists and growing demand for sophisticated and trendsetter consumer goods and to strengthen Ayala Center Cebu’s landmark as the lifestyle and retail destination in Metro Cebu.
Cebu IT Park
Cebu IT Park is the flagship project of CPVDC. The project is a 27 ha IT economic zone and fully integrated property. Cebu IT Park host to over 70% of Cebu’s business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. Other developments located within Cebu IT Park are the retail strip The Walk and eBlock which is a joint venture project with Ayala Land, Inc. where CPVDC has 40% interest though Asian I-Office Properties.
CHI sells residential condominium through their interest in 1016 Residences, Sedona Parc, Solinea, and Avida Towers Cebu.
CHI sells residential lots through their 100% interest in Amara.
